What brought me out of the Minecraft grind was school and my peers. Realizing that my peers looked down at people who spend their days playing Minecraft kinda got to me. Find something you really enjoy doing – sports, a school subject, an extracurricular, and stick to that. Make it a habit not to play. Once you get out of that cycle of school, homework, Minecraft (or something), and remove Minecraft from your daily activities, you will find it becomes harder and harder to add Minecraft back into your daily cycle. Right now, I'm guessing it is a habit to play Minecraft for you. If you can make it a habit not to play, breaking that habit (playing) will become as hard as it is to not play (right now).Posted on 02 December 2016 - 03:33 PM

What I meant was, put yourself in an environment where people look down at anyone who plays games in general. I'm not kidding. Surround yourself with people who think that games are a waste of time, and think that people who play them live sub-par lives. Their thoughts will rub off on you.
If you surround yourself with people who play games "all day", then you will get the impression that it is ok to play games all day. You wouldn't want to quit because you are surrounded by people who do the same thing.
In other words, the Badlion Forums isn't a good place to be if you are seriously considering leaving this cycle of Minecraft, school, and sleep.

I knew my response sounded sketchy, which is why I said I wasn't kidding :P
It's completely up to you what you decide to do. Just weigh your life and future properly, don't sacrifice everything to keep a few friends.
