Its stupid to use a mouse with a high dpi and not take advantage of it.

It's best to use your mouse native dpi which is almost never the highest dpi available and using anything higher than your native dpi is useless and can cause inaccuracy.

Using the highest DPI is stupid.
Using a DPI that suits you is a good idea. I used to use really high and still use fairly high, but it works for me, end of discussion.
I use 1600 DPI 74% and used to use 1600 100%, but it's just whatever suits you. Also I know Yea has like 3200 DPI or some shit like wtf.

I still don't understand how you can aim with that.

1. A lot of newer mice don't have a native DPI such as the Logitech G502.
2. Not true

Also @yea i thought you started using your Vykz account for forums or have you gone back?

The G402 is native at every dpi as long as it's incremented by 80 so 2400 should be fine.

i forgot what I put my polling rate at for it though. Its low I know that much. But basically I just have to move my mouse a centimeter or 2 and I'll be doing 360s with ease

game sense comes naturally, its not something you can consciously build up

Make sure you have mouse acceleration turned off, this will improve you aim a lot. If you dont know how to do it, just look up 'how to disable mouse accel'

Blockhitting depends on your cps
what is mouse accel?

I literally used to play on 2400 too; but I was too irritated to switch to something lower (stupid af) until last year LOL
Last year I started to play on like 1200 and then 600 and then now I'm around 300. I love the very slow sens

Mouse acceleration is when the movement is based on speed. Which means if you move your mouse 1 inch slowly it will move your crosshair one distance and if you move it quickly the same distance your crosshair will travel further.

Usually it's better for gaming to turn this feature off since we usually rely on muscle memory for aiming and if we don't know where our crosshair will land, even if we move our mouse the same distance it can be difficult to develop a muscle memory.

that doesnt make any sense

i have 6/11 windows sens
35% mc sens
1700 dpi

I used to have
6/11 windows sens
60% mc sens
800 dpi

i about doubled my dpi and halved my mc sens, then messed with it a bit until it felt right and then my aim was just the same except smoother and easier to control. having a high dpi and a low in game sens takes advantage of the enhanced precision of high dpi gaming mice. otherwise you might as well put an old 2010 dell mouse sensor in your fancy mouse casing

Thing is my mouse tpdoesn't have software with it. If I change my dpi to let's say 1600 via buttons, when I restart my PC the dpi goes back to 800

Also with 1700 dpi how do you get fast refills???
