If you get low it's okay to kite for a moment just to heal, but don't do it for too long.Posted on 04 December 2016 - 12:51 PM

I rod alot and its obvious that you wanna bow if youre low. Ehm its hard to fns spam when it has 2 charges lolPosted on 04 December 2016 - 01:22 PM
Don't make your fns too predictable, if you gotta kite to heal you gotta kite even though it may be annoying. By kiting I mean excessively rodding your opponent away so you can reheal. Land arrow shots when they're cornered or in a tight position so they have little space to run to, don't just be shooting for no reason so they can just run and heal as that would just be a waste of an arrow. Don't get too cocky if you think you're about to win as they can pull some sick rod trick and you get fucked over (took me several times to avoid that)Posted on 04 December 2016 - 03:06 PM

i got first for 3 seasons and this is how i did it. XDIn the earlier seasons before helmet's and armor became unbreakable if i couldnt beat my oppenent in straight up melee i would break their helmet since my rod accuracy insane. I wasnt the best at pvp so thats how i carried my self.
after they patched the armour shizz i found my self in the hole i basically used my secondaries to the max. If i did not win the starting exchange of the fight i would just rod my oppenent away until i could fight again.
Also never fight under 4 hearts EVER, bullshit happens all the time and you dont want to lose to some shit head who gets donged the entire fight then pulls out this lucky ass fns then bow spams you.
these are some key tactics if you seriously want to carry your self to high ranks in the lbs
1. FNS RUN BOW SPAM THEN ROD TRICK.
2. KITE YOUR OPPENENT FOR 1ISH MINUTES WITHOUT DOING ANYTHING THEN TURN AROUND FNS WHEN THEY DONT EXPECT IT AND FALL BACK TO TACTIC ONE IF THEY BEAT YOU IN THE MELEE EXCHANGE.
3. GAPPLE CONSERVING IS KEY ALWAYS BOW SPAM OR MELEE UNTIL YOUR OPPENENT GAPPLES THEN ROD SPAM THEM AWAY AND REGENNING BACK TO FULL HEALTH NOW YOU HAVE AN EQUAL TO 14 HEARTS.
4. USE TERRAIN TO UR ADVANTAGE THIS IS BITCHY BUT IT FUCKING WORKS I CAN BET U IF U GO ON HIGH GROUND AND HOLD UR BOW OUT NO ONE IN HELL WILL CHARGE U AND IF THEY DO FUCK EM
5. USE YOUR BOW TO REGEN, IF UR BOTH LOW HEALTH AND UR OPPENENT IS AN AGGRESSIVE SHIT HEAD HOLD OUT YOUR BOW AND FOLLOW THEM WITH UR CROSSHAIR THEY WONT DARE TO COME AT U JUST DO THIS UNTIL UR AT COMFORTABLE HEALTH TO SHIT ON THEM
ALRIGHT THATS GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG ENJOY SWEATING -t

coming from someone who had 57/69 on MCSG, just play extremely passively and defensively, bait out their FnS and try and make them rod you as much as possible so their rod breaks before yours (sadly this is a tactic on Badlion, I used to rod spam as much as I could until my opponent's helmet broke, those were the days) but now you must conserve rod durability as well as secondaries. Most players use their arrows and FnS at the start of the fight, I conserve all of my equipment until the opponent has wasted theirs, then I kite and 180 rod where necessary (you can't just face them rod spamming because rip durability). If you are going to die then gapple, also when kiting always be ready to catch your opponent of guard as a well executed rod crit can literally deal close to 5 hearts of damage. I've destroyed emerald SG players with 8 hearts by just rod critting (given I have had over 2 years of perfecting the art of rod critting on MCSG). Use your equipment once you are full health and the opponent has no (or little) equipment left. Then fully charge your opponent as they will want to be kiting now, apply as much pressure as you can so that you make them panic. Once they panic they will constantly rod which will drain their durability, and having no rod is an instant loss, especially if the player with a rod knows how to rod crit.
