I don't like the new archer kit for a few reasons :- Random damages (sometimes, a not charged arrow can deal as much damage as a fully charged one)
- There is no damages difference between "longshots" and "shortshots" which leads to fights in which you shoot someone down to one heart,
you get closer to get the final shot and he just shoots you 3 times at 5 blocks and you have the same health as him
–> Longrange doesn't have any interest now because you can deal as much damages in 5 sec in shortrange
- Damages are too high
- There is no more knockback after you get shot –> Too much easy to get shots in a row, especially in shortrange –> (30 secs matches)
With all those changes, archer has just become some kind of iron where your arrows deal 3,5 hearts
Even though, there are a few changes that I also liked :
- No more pearls
- No more "autoboost"
- Speed II can also be a good thing if you get used to it
So I would be glad if you could take those remarks into account to improve this kit !

it is absolutely perfect in this S15 test, it makes me want to dance.also, for those who want projectile protection, that would make the damage even more random, 2-4 hearts is the perfect range anyway

I know. This was a stupid response. I must admit that.
We know that this Kit can work as it is. But at the moment it obviusly isn't.
Do you have some ideas how we can make the kit not crit to win, without adding speed back?

Soup is not designed to be speed based. This is finally a real "soup" kit and I'd like to keep the combination refill/no speed. Edit : This KB is honestly way too high for a soup ladder. It encourages too much jumpcritting and is less skill-based.

Soup needs speed 2 otherwise as many are stating it becomes a crit fest for people that are evenly matched. In my opinion S12 soup was the most fun just because it was quicker but S14 soup kit takes more skill with refills. The reason people don't play soup is also because it isn't popular and has a wide range of things to be good at in order to be good at the kit.Posted on 11 December 2016 - 06:32 PM

Funny how you say it shouldn't be like a weird diamond-like fight when all it is right now is an extended diamond fight. Players just exchange crits, soup, and move on. Its tiring and boring, there is little skill involved. Its not that hard to soup, especially with how slow paced the ladder is with no speed, and the fact that crits are being thrown around there is so much kb being taken refilling doesn't require much effort.
