Questions regarding a PC and fps
Around what fps would I run minecraft at with optifine, with these specs:

intel core i5 4600
nvidia geforce gtx 1060
8gb ram
256gb ssd

Also, what affects the fps the most? Is it the processor?

In minecraft the CPU has the biggest impact on fps, but the GPU still helps with things like high res packs and shaders.

Get more than just a 256 SSD (I recommend a 1TB hard drive at least) along with the SSD. Also, pretty sute that cpu wouldn't work well with that gpu. If you slightly upgrade your cpu you'll easily get 300-1000 constant fps high settings.

Ah, what I meant was an i5 6400. Would this be good enough?

Yes, that with a 1060 is more than enough to run basically any game.

Yeah your pretty good the 6400 is skylake and 1060 is the newest nvidia hardware allthough these specs are overkill if you only aim to play mc
