Impossible problems
I got some even tougher for the smartest badlion players to solve!

1. D(K) = gcd{Disc(α) : α ∈ OK and [OK : Zα] < ∞}.

2. f(x) = x3 − x − 1 = 0,

3. 1+5 = 18
2+10 = 36
3+15=54
4+20= ?

4. Ax + By = Cz.

5. H(x)=(x^2)+1 and K(x)=-(x^2)+4. If K(H)=0, what are the roots/solutions?

6. 3 points lie on an xy plane, with each point representing where a particular person lives. Amy lives at point (2,3); Brian lives at point (0,7); and Claire lives at point (-2,3). They all wish to meet up with each other for lunch, but at a location that is equidistant from each of their respective houses. At what point do they meet?

7. (X/100) + (Y/66) = (3X+5Y)/Z. What is Z?

first one is from the field of math called algebraic number field problems, Hard stuff.

This UHC host became very fidgety once I started my math/science problems post.

Some of these aren't even questions… just statements.

The notation on the first one is not clear in any sense. Furthermore, it looks like this player's just stating a set.

Second one… what? Nice function. Should we solve for x or something? If one does, you'll need to be keen on the cubic formula. It's a famous result: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plastic_number.

Third one looks like a few shared Facebook posts I've seen.

Fourth one, again, nice equation. What's the problem?

Fifth, fair problem!

Sixth, knock yourselves out and find that circumcenter.

Seventh, very ill-posed problem. What is Z? Is it an integer? What are X and Y? Complex numbers? Not really sure what this question is asking.

Interesting, because I've actually studied algebraic field theory through Galois theory, and I've never seen such notation.

The problem needs more background. If you found this from a textbook or something, link the textbook, since often times authors use a unique notation that other books might not.

What do you mean fidgety? Secondly, Yes I guess these arent the best examples of math equeations and i should have given more insight on them. My mistake. As for the first problem, It is one i found online and It explained it as a problem however that may not be the case. Thank you for correcting me on these.
