Consistency Factor
Ok this is just not fun anymore. It's so frustrating grinding a ladder like GApple (which I'm Diamond III in trying to get to Masters) that already has 3 minute fights on average and winning 15 fights or so in a row but losing 1 and making those wins render useless. Just winning those 15 fights that average 3 minutes is already 45 minutes, not to mention the 15 extra minutes it would take me to queue those people to begin with. There needs to be some consistency factor built into the MMR system like there was in S13, but for some reason everyone hated not losing points idfk why. It's a huge waste of time for me to win 20 matches and lose 1 due to either lag or the occasional cheater, which I've had enough experience with today to make me want to shoot myself, and be down points. I get 13 points from every single fight unless they are like emerald 3 or something outrageous that barely anyone else is. If I played 20 matches and gained 13 points a match, I'd have gained 260, but if I lose 1, I'm up 46 points with an entire hour and a half wasted. Nobody is perfect. Nobody can win every single match they play, but if you are on a 15 or 20+ streak, then there's about an 80% chance it wasn't your fault how you died whether it be due to lag or cheaters or any other random excuse all of you people come up with to blame your faults. I can't be the only one who thinks this is an issue.

(TL;DR) - Just bring back a consistency factor to the way MMR works so that way if you are on a good streak you don't lose as many points because grinding is just becoming less and less fun, especially for high ranked players in ladders.

thats the challenge of being diamond II, shouldn't be easy to get out of or to maintain, even for someone as good as you

Too many players would get insane ratings if they made people lose minimum amounts after a win streak. As Hivlik often says, consistency should be rewarded

The consistency you are talking about would be around 100 games straight to even get to rank up, and many people hack in gapple. Literally impossible :P
