Your then left with hardly any melee gamemodes… How would Ihacklite get his global? Your also turning bow ladders into what will become melee plus bowspam plus rodspam and ruining the archer gamemode by punishing those who play mid/short range Disagree with a lot of this although Vanilla should removed however horse has been here for a while so don't see that changing.Posted on 19 December 2016 - 07:32 PM

Vanilla:
Remove this gamemode. There is really no use of vanilla because there is NoDebuff and Debuff.
Archer:
Keep this gamemode, this category is focused on long range bow, which is not really highlighted by other gamemodes.
UHC:
Add a rod to this gamemode. This is allow more melee possibities and make more people be less defensive.
Diamond:
Keep this gamemode, but remove the bow and add a rod. The bow makes this gamemode really defensive and it makes me really mad. This should be more focused on melee.
Iron:
What is the use of this gamemode? Don't remove it, but put it into unranked. Since there is Diamond, I don't really find a use for this.
SG:
Highlight this game as much as possible. Keep this game and add more arrows to about 16. I would accept this gamemode to be defensive because SG is supposed to be defensive.
Debuff:
Put this gamemode into unranked. I don't really see many people playing this gamemode, instead seeing NoDebuff played more. Even though this game can be useful for practice maybe at like HCF EOTW, but currently I don't find a use.
GApple:
Put this gamemode into unranked. This game doesn't really help you practice in any specific gamemode. This may help your combos and maybe even clicking speed, but I recommend for it to be in unranked.
NoDebuff:
This gamemode is perfect. Maybe some tweaks into the knockback and thats it, perfect. Also, the maps should be flatter, terrain in PotPVP is crucial.
IronSoup:
Put this game into unranked. There are some people who enjoy this gamemode, so don't completely remove it, but put it into unranked. This game is not that popular, which makes it so that the good people have no competition.
Horse:
Put this game into party fights only. This gamemode is the most unplayed gamemode in badlion. That is my reasoning.
BuildUHC:
Keep it. Flawless. Maybe some tweaks in the knockback. Maybe some map changes. Boom. Flawless.
I have a multitude of disagreements I would like to point out, but please note beforehand these are MY opinions. They can change, and you also don't have to agree with them.
To start off, I do not think Vanilla should go. Vanilla is a fully customisable kit that can have a rod added to it, and a multitude of whatever pots you like. I think the rod is the main thing, but being able to have a bow to change enchants also helps. Some players more adept for bow boosting may like this kit better, and people amazing at rod but not solid at speed pvp may use this to get better. I still think this is a ladder to keep, even if I am bad at it.
I do agree with your points on Archer, this kit specializes in improving the long range bow mechanics of a player, and I think that is pretty unique and should be kept. It is Badlion's decision on whether to add the new S15 Kit to replace or add on to the current kit, but I think both kits have their unique place and are good in their own ways. For more information on my views on the S15 kit (https://www.badlion.net/forum/thread/147726/post/829958#829958).
I do NOT think a rod should be added to UHC. First off, this is a bow kit. It may not seem like it because it has a sword, but it is pretty much a bow only kit. If you think a rod will help with that, I will have to disagree. A rod will just allow bowspammers to hit off melee rushers more, hence making this even a greater bow oriented kit.
Diamond queue is a unique queue that makes players use a bow rather than a rod. This is a mechanic not found in any other kits and is what makes Diamond unique. Although I am quite bad at it I don't believe they should change from a rod to a bow. People good with a bow can use it to finish off opinions and bow trick enemies, which is a skill very helpful in situations where you dont have a rod. Replacing the bow with a rod will remove the uniqueness of the kit.
Your view on Iron I completely disagree with. This queue ladder is NOTHING like diamond, as it is a bow ladder and not a melee focused ladder. This ladder emphasizes shot camping, which most players hate, but it is still a valuable skill. Iron queue is one of my favorite queues just because of how much it resembles iron rushing in a UHC game. I think it is great practice, and the ranked queue ladder should stay.
I kind of like your idea for the SG queue ladder, but don't like the massive increase of arrows. Good archers will be able to kill their opponent with 16 shots before they can even get close, which would remove most of the melee from the kit if you were good enough.
Just because Debuff isn't played much doesn't directly mean people hate it. It teaches another valuable skill, throwing debuff pots (obviously I know), which can help a lot in PvP situations. I see no reason why this should be removed, players with the ability to correctly use these pots to their advantage should not be punished.
Gapple is another queue that should stay. This queue is actually very popular and helps improve on some of your PvP skills. Again, I see no reason why it should be unranked. Gapple is a very skillful queue ladder, one that I am not going to even get to gold in anytime soon.
NoDebuff, I agree, is pretty good at the moment. I don't see any current changes that need to be done to it.
I don't think you realize putting a gamemode into unranked completely demotivates people to grind it. This is the only soup ladder on the server, and I see no reason it has to go.
Your logic for the horse is the most flawed I have seen in a while. There are much less players playing 2v2s, so making a 1v1 gamemode that isn't very commonly played a 2v2 gamemode would make it MUCH LESS played. Major logic fallacy. Also, I see people in this queue all the time, usually more than some of the other queues. It also helps players learn to play on a horse (again really obvious I know) which is very good in UHC situations.
I do think BuildUHC is pretty good as it is, so I agree with you here.
This thread isn't as detailed or proofread as I would of liked it to be, but I am doing this pretty quickly before I get some sleep.
