GG/GF/CLOSE
I still think this should indicate "bad sportsmanship" since the entire community uses it as a rude way.

-1, it's generally interpreted as a sign of good sportmanship, I've definitely used it this way and it's impossible for a mod to actually know what the player means with a word or just even 2 letters.

Well when the entire community uses it in a bad way I don't understand why its not considered as "bad sportsmanship". Literally ask the community in a strawpoll on twitter. Then tell me what the community uses it more as.

GG means Good Game and GF means Good Fight. It's like telling someone that they can't say that the game was good even if they really meant it. There's a reason that you can say gg and gf after dying in a UHC…

gg is fine GG is annoying

"CLOSE" is obvs bad sportsmanship if a staff doesnt think that then they dont know what they r doing

I understand saying "GG" and "GF" is debatable but at the very least saying "CLOSE" has to be considered as "bad sportsmanship".

If you watch ANY streamer when they say any of these phrases they use it in a bad way and so does the entire community. If you don't understand this you are ignorant. (Don't want to be rude) BUT its frustrating that the whole community uses it in a toxic/rude way and still can not get muted for it. Its a bypass that everyone is using because they know its by-passable.

Imagine it in this scenario:
you say 'gf' after a game, you don't think much of it and then you realize that your muted for bad sportsmanship

People have twisted the meaning of 'gg' over the last year or so, it used to be used only as a way of being a good sportsman but now it's used to annoy and provoke your opponent 50% of the time.

Why is it annoying to say someone GG (Good Game) or GF (Good Fight). I know that some people sometimes write these in order to mock about someone but we dont know the context. How can we understand saying that word for good sport or to mock?

gg and gf in caps is really annoying cause let's say you a guy in sports in real and then scream to him "GG". It should be viewed as bad sportmanship imo.

GG/GF/CLOSE (caps) are all definitely meant to hurt or taunt the player, everyone knows that. I wouldn't want that to be mute-worthy because i used to always have my caps lock on for some reason and type GG instead of gg.

wtf? If someone has a really close fight, it could be a really GOOD GAME using caps to emphasize the fact that it was a good game. I don't understand, if someone says GG they mean GOOD GAME, why do people get mad over this ?

What else would you say to show that the game was good if gg and gf were mutable? I don't even consider close as bad sportsmanship. It just means that it was a close match. It's not calling them bad, it's literally stating that you were close.

A lot of you guys clearly don't play UHC often because the whole UHC community knows what it means and has never used in a positive way just a rude way.
