Recently, I got unbanned after 6 months for autoclicking. I was really excited to play again on Badlion but I was disappointed with the current state of the server. Now don’t get me wrong, I don’t mean any disrespect in this post, in fact I hope I can accomplish something with this, and gain support in the least toxic way I can. I’m just stating an opinion and this is the only way to raise awareness to the whole staff community.

Here’s my opinion on why Badlion became worse:

1: The Knockback

The knockback needs a lot of work. Most people don’t ever really move and all you do is trade with each other. I’ve fought with so many low ranking players and they do so much better than they’re supposed to. I understand how hard it is to get decent kb settings, but when you asked for the community’s advice you ended up listening primarily to a UHC community. I hope you guys have some sort of plan for it in the future, possibly Badlion Premium or S15 in general.

2: ''Cleaning up'' the Kohi community

The kohi community went from server with over a thousand concurrent players everyday to a hamlet of 100 or so. How can you claim that you cleaned it up, you can’t argue that 90% of the potpvp community was cheating. A lot of them left and it’s mainly due to the lack of pot servers they enjoy. Badlion, in all honesty, you failed to keep the potion community alive. And archy, I’m ashamed you can just fit us all into a box of “cheaters.” That’s not fair to the ones who look to better this potion community. I understand BuildUHC is a large part of your server, but that doesn’t give you any right to leave us to rot.

3: The Lag / Cheaters

This one I don’t even know where to start. A good majority of players I fight in nodebuff and gapple are lagging or even cheating horribly. I don’t know where this even comes from, because from a server with the greatest serverside anticheat I still fight people who max out vape. I remember Archy saying they have a check for it, but it doesn’t seem to be working that well. You literally have people recording themselves with 5.5 on their killaura

/ Everyone I know on Badlion tells me the same thing, that all the players they fight are lagging, or the server keeps freezing. I quote from a friend: ''They ddosed themselves on an infinite loop which took them about 4 hours to fix, they have an anti cheat that cracked spook can bypass, kb that's as smooth as a Michael bay film and they couldn't set up an AU host so they delayed it for ages''. And I know a friend who disconnects from Badlion randomly and causes him to lose games, and he can’t connect for 5 minutes. All other servers are fine and he can connect with another account during.

4: The Rating System

It’s honestly so broken. It’s supposed to match with people on your skill level, but when I play NoDebuff I queue silver III's who lag around the map. In games such as Overwatch, the rating system is a lot different than your rating system. I get that not many players play it, but there’s got to be alternatives to this queue system. I thought it was supposed to give you more points on a streak but I still gain +13 every silver I queue. It’s literally the same as ELO, and I had high hopes from MMR, I just hope you honor it sometime in Badlion Premium or S15. (I get that people hated the S13 MMR, but most of them were low ranking players, please bring back a good system that rewards you for streaks or punishes you for a loss streak

5: GCheat

I remember back on Badlion, and Minecraft in general, where no one used to be cheating. (Also archy, your server was potion and archer back in the early seasons and the community wasn’t as toxic as you claimed it to be). And GCheat would ban any players prior to Judgement Day v5. But after Judgement Day v7, where I was punished, I noticed an insane increase in cheaters compared to my initial ban. Did you guys leave GCheat to rot, because it seems that everyone can bypass nowadays. Maybe even the trash PvPLounge will catch up to your anticheat, because that’s the kind of course your anticheat is going. I only hope that Badlion Premium is as good as you guys promise it will be, and not another false promise. Badlion has overgrown with cheaters, and I hope it doesn’t just become a generic minecraft server.

6: The 5-second timer

This one pisses me off. Like okay, I get waiting the 5 seconds but does it actually have to TP you back every single time you move more than 3 blocks. Please just remove this. If you multiply ihacklites played matched by 5 seconds you end up: 4985+756x5=28705seconds 28705/60/60 = almost 8 full hours of just waiting for the 5 second timer to run out.

7: The Staff

Now, don't get me wrong with this, there are plenty of great staff members on Badlion, but a lot of them need more experience. Look at this: https://www.Badlion.net/forum/thread/147388. For an experienced player, it's easy to see that this is just a case of lag, however, he was falsely banned for speed. Had the staff member had more experience here, I'm sure this wouldn't have occurred. Most of the staff now I find to be doing nothing other than muting or playing ranked. I find the /report command to be useless, and most of the times I need to personally contact a staff. I should be able play ranked and use the /report feature and have the person banned by someone other than GCheat. As a staff team whole, they rely too much on GCheat, and the only way to get someone banned is through personal connection. I just think the staff team needs more work. Also, the owner himself said on Twitter: ''Aim > CPS - when you click 10 CPS but don't even have 30% accuracy (most players don't breach 40%) your clicking isn't helping, it's hurting'', maybe that was the case when you jittered, but a lot of good players can easily breach 40%. %’s are quite false anyway, think about how many times you have your cursor on someone and you’re swinging but you’re simply too far away.

Despite what everyone loves to believe, half of this KB stuff is placebo and ping differences. There are some values that can be tweaked but unless you change them by a stupid amount it doesn't have a gigantic amount. If one user has a high ping and you have a low one it does not play out the nicest. Same vice versa. Not to mention difference in people using 1.7 vs 1.8 vs 1.9 etc. People use W tapping way more now than 2 years ago as well. There are a lot of changes since 2 years ago from the video you posted and you simply cannot compare them. I think we are planning on tweaking the speed KB a bit next season but we are not touching the non-speed at all.

Badlion is smooth at times, especially when less players are online, for example on the Australian server (Max 100 players)

No one has experienced premium, which is what Archy believes to be the fix-all for Badlion's issues. Maybe that's true, maybe not. Until premium is out, there is no argument.

I do, however, hope that the potion community will have a voice when the time comes.
