if you want the best representation of what masters really is in elo, then you take the top 12 players of builduhc, all masters, and look at the lowest elo of the top 12 players in s12, which was 2500 elo.i'd say masters is AT LEAST 2500 elo

iHackLite is as right as you can be. The closest you can get is by comparing leaderboard positions but it still isn't accurate. There isn't even a conversion from season 11 to 12, even though they both used elo, because the ladders become more inflated the more they are played.

Thinking about it, yeah probably 2550+. 10th place in build only increased about 30 elo from season 11 to 12, but 14 has been a particularly long season so 2550 sounds about right for Build.

Also for pot ladders the increase in players from the Kohi merge should've inflated the ladder more (although people go on about it killing the Kohi community, it did increase the skill + player count in NoDebuff at least)

I made a conversion thread, sat around like an idiot, then realized conversions don't exist and regretted it ever since.
