Help Please. (Large Ping Spikes)
I essentially keep getting rather large lag spikes which have been happening for the past few days now. Saying this, I've always really had some lag over this whole year whether it'd be packet loss or just insanely bad lag spikes but I have never been able to work out the cause for it. It's definitely not my internet speed as it never really drops, it's usually around the speeds advertised (50 down 3 up and around 17 ping or so) and this is why I'm confused. My connection has never really been stable, sometimes it's ridiculously good with no issues and sometimes it's extremely poor, I was just unsure on what to do to attempt to fix it so I came here to ask of if any of you have any experience with the same issues I've had and know how to fix it. This lag isn't specific to Badlion (or Minecraft as far as I'm aware) so this is why I'm leading towards just calling up my ISP, the only reason I'm delaying it is because they have absolutely no idea what they're talking about most of the time and would give a response of "We can't see any issues on our side" etc.

I've spoke around to friends and such we've come to the conclusion that it's more than likely down to my ISP but it'd like to be 100% sure before I take action. I'd like to mention that whilst doing these ping tests I went onto Badlion and did a couple of unranked fights to try and attempt to recreate the lag I've recently been having so please keep that in mind. (I know the "tests" I did were extremely simple, I have absolutely no idea on how to test them correctly really so please don't flame at me.)

From that you can clearly see I am definitely having some issues. I would like to state that I did several tests and on multiple computers with two separate Ethernet cables just to ensure it wasn't down to my PC or the Ethernet cable I was using at the time.

Please if you have absolutely any idea on what I should do comment it down below as I'd take any help I can get, thank you.

ik you said you had done it on several different computers but, if you're using a radeon GPU in your main PC did you upgrade to their new drivers? I had upgraded to their new drivers and theres a problem with them that can cause ping spikes over wifi. i looked at AMD's forums and other people were having the same issue.

Still helps… I guess Gberry will be able to tell him what's wrong and what tot say to the ISP.
I'm assuming that he does also have these problems on Badlion.
I guess

I don't have an AMD card, but thanks for trying to help anyways.
