Make items nonburnable
This is a UHC suggestion/idea, but why not make items not burnable? We mute for bad sportsmanship and try to keep bad sportsmanship off this server so this could help prevent bad sportsmanship. It also ruins the experience of killing someone more geared than you. Hope you this idea comes into the work! -Jules

Burning your items is a strategy, specifically if you still have a teammate in the game and you want him to have the best chance possible at winning, if your death is inevitable. Burning your items is a strategy, how can you even begin to compare it to trash talking and other forms of bad sportsmanship in chat?

No it's called being a cunt, not a strategy at all. What a pathetic excuse

Excuse me? Have you ever bothered to examine the definition of "Strategy"?

"A plan of action designed to achieve a long-term or overall aim."

It is quite unambiguously a strategy. The plan of action is to burn your items. The overall aim is to give your teammate an advantage, or to give your murderer a disadvantage, as I'm sure you wouldn't want the person who killed you to win the game.

If you put the effort into killing someone, and they burn their stuff that's being a massive arse

It's only Minecraft man, if you're going to get genuinely worked up over players using a vanilla tactic of burning items before you're able to collect them then that's your problem.

Killing someone is also a "vanilla" tactic

I'm very confused as to what you're trying to point out. The context of your post would suggest that you're arguing against me, however your actual post is agreeing with mine. Stating that killing someone is a "vanilla tactic" in order to compare it to the "vanilla tactic" of burning items further reinforces my point that burning items shouldn't be removed, because we would never remove the ability to kill someone.

Tell me how his arguments are applicable either please, as he's clearly attempted to use the logical fallacy known as ad passiones, in which case I started joking around with him saying "It's only Minecraft man…", that wasn't my argument.
