I've got an issue with loading a playing with resource packs above 32x. I used to play on a pc which wasn't good for gaming at all so then I now play on an acer laptop that pretty decent for gaming especially for a game like Mc. The thing is when I'm playing with a 16x/32x pack or under for example an infinte or such pack. My fps is fine ranging from 120 to 300. And then as soon as i load a 64x pack my fps goes to like 2 no joke. It doesn't matter which pack it is as long as its 64x or over it lags my laptop so unbelivable hard. It doesn't make sense to me because my fps is so good with a 32x or under pack and then as soon it goes over that mark it just lags. Sometimes the pack is fine with my laptop for 2 seconds or so and then goes back to being unplayable and I dont know how to fix it. I remember as well like 6 months ago or something like that I came to Mc after a while and I forgot about this problem and never experienced it again for a while and then I kinda didn't play Mc for a while again and then once i loaded up minecraft (having forgotten about this issue due to not playing) it started all over again. Please if you know how to fix this or maybe have experienced it before, let me know how I can resolve it.Posted on 14 January 2017 - 10:42 AM
Put all your packs in a folder on your desktop (so you dont lose them) then delete your .minecraft and re-install minecraftPosted on 14 January 2017 - 11:17 AM

The only game i mostly play on this laptop is Mc, it's the acer aspire e1-572Intel core i5 4200U
Intel HD 4400
6GB Ram DDR3 500gb hd (dunno if this helps)
Windows 8.1 64bit
