It depends on context. Just saying L on its own is disrespectful and bad sportsmanship. If you use the letter in a regular sentence it isn't, and is allowed. Similarly, saying rape in a disrespectful context will get you muted, but if you use the word without being disrespectful or breaking any of the rules, it's allowed.Posted on 16 January 2017 - 12:19 AM

I honestly think that muting for a single letter in the chat is really unneeded, unless they're spamming it or actually being genuinely toxic then they should be muted.
