I'm not sure. I don't really have any regrets, but I probably would have been more assertive about decisions I thought were wrong.
I think the single biggest issue with Badlion, broadly speaking, is the "if it ain't broken don't fix it" attitude. In reality, that translates to "things haven't reached a crisis level yet so effort spent making things better could be better spent doing new things". This attitude comes through in everything Badlion does, from the ongoing issues with arena and other development type stuff and the continuing issues with MMR that in my opinion arose not from a flawed rating system (MMR is pretty good) but a bungled public handling of the switch, to interstaff issues like senior/manager activity which are ignored because it would take more effort to replace them than to let things go as they are and appeals and inappropriate name policy which has been inconsistent and confused since day one.
That's not to say that these issues are unfixable or spell the doom of Badlion - I still hold Badlion in very high esteem. But I think if anything does doom Badlion, it'll be when all these various small issues hit critical at the same time (or maybe just a slow dieout but that's not nearly as dramatic). Slowly but surely, I think Badlion is getting better. You and I both worked on clarifying appeals policy, and my work with freekkiller and others to establish and define appeals policy is some of my favorite work I've done on the staff team. UHC Meetup has finally been fixed and improved, S15 will fix many bugs and issues with arena, and I know the admins are beginning to see the need for change within the staff team.
As for my opinion of you, we've had very little direct interaction, so much of how I consider you is from what others have told me. It's funny, while writing this I was going to say "will probably be the next UHC manager" and you got it at the same time. Congrats, by the way. I know you've earned it. Your friends think you're kind, smart, and hardworking, and they all seem to adore you. You've earned the respect of a lot of good people, which I guess earns you mine as well. Good luck as manager!

I always kind of viewed you as a somewhat happy go lucky person; never really focused on the flaws in people and instead made them feel better. I suppose that was entirely wrong (and that's not in a bad way at all), but I don't see why you held that back until after resigning.

You're looking at this in the context of me resigning from staff, which isn't the case at all. I was pretty much the exact same way in my last opinion tweet here: http://www.twitlonger.com/show/n_1spdtrp
It's more of a time thing - in the past few months I've begun to value honesty over preserving people's feelings. Resigning has nothing to do with it.
And anyway, I still do see the best in people most of the time. I wouldn't be telling you that you could do better if I didn't see a lot of potential in you. I have high expectations of many people, yourself included, and I'll be disappointed if you don't live up to them.

first off ow (But I don't really care since OCN is gone for good on Jan. 31st hence fixing the problem either way)Secondly I don't really have much to say except that I'm sad that you left and that's a really big blow that the CM Team will have to recover from but once I'm able to I'll push to make sure it makes it through and in a proper fashion. (In other words, less of the proxy tool you mentioned.)

I think this accurately describes how I feel towards PvP right now. I'm relying on Badlion Premium being a success, because if it isn't it will be really disappointing and I don't see where the next step will come from if it isn't Badlion. This doesn't mean that I don't have very high hopes or a lot of belief in the upcoming features. My clan members and friends will agree that I am a strong supporter of Premium and I just don't want it to let us down.

Finally, I'd like to say that this has got to be the most interesting AMA I've ever read. I appreciate that you're honest to people and especially that you are giving people good advice on how to get better at what they do. Although I've never spoken to you personally, you seem like a very intelligent guy and I can guarantee that you have made a positive impact on many people and the community as a whole. The community could do with a lot more people like you, it's sad that you don't have the time to put into it that you used to.
(Might seem like a lot coming from someone who has never spoken to you, but I have a lot of respect for people in the community who are mature and with good intent, and I think it's only fair to let them know that and that there are other people who think the same.)

I hope our (relatively new) friendship does not end because of your resignation :(.
