Can someone tell me what is a blanket ban and blacklist?

Blanket ban - when your account and any accounts connected to you are banned, I think any connected IP's are too

Blacklist - Pretty similar, but you can only get blacklisted if you do something that really negatively affects the server or is illegal. This could be for DDoSing the server, Swatting someone, filing false legal claims against the server or anything else that's seriously wrong. When you're blacklisted, all of your accounts and IPs and any other accounts and IP's connected to you are banned, I don't think there is any chance for appeal but I could be wrong.
