Most of the stats that show up on it are easily viewable via either the HUD or the /stats command. I'd rather be able to see my ping bar than all this junk.

Ping in game is inaccurate. If you did /ping and it showed 100ms, you're most likely around 85-115. It's never accurate in game. At this point you can easily manipulate ping as well, so that the server sees something different than what it actually is.

Badlion don't want to copy some other servers or something like that, therefore made a custom tab, he is of course very functional and flexible. That ping you can see with command /ping or as you said on tab is not even correct, that is the reason why Badlion doesn't have it.
If it is true what I heard when Badlion premium comes out there will be ping mod and you will be able to see correct ping.
