STOP COMPARING ELO TO MMR REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEPosted on 13 February 2017 - 11:59 AM
Comparing to the other seasons won't help, just check where you are on the leaderboards and try and improve your placement on thereIf I remember I'll check where 2k elo was on the S12 leaderboards and edit my post after

While I can't tell you what 2k is I can tell you that 2150-2250 is about Emerald 2.Last edited on 14 February 2017 - 11:31 AM by CraftainJulius
This isn't a direct conversion, I just think it compares the skill it takes to get a certain elo to the skill it takes to get a certain MMR.Bronze V - 900
Silver V - 1100
Gold V - 1500-1600
Emerald V - 2000
Diamond V - 2200
Masters - 2400

Another way to scale it is think about how much elo you gained while fighting an even ranked player in seasons 12 below and seasons 13+. While winning in a match against someone with really close points as you it was often you would get 12-17 points. Flip back to current arena pvp and you often get 120-170 points. So really the point system was multiplied by 10 and then had rankings thrown in the mix. If I'm not correct your started to 1400 points, so you needed to gain at least 600 points to get to 2000 (Lel math skills). So to get to that same spot in current arena… then you would have to go up six ranks from the global rank you start with. Which for most people is either Silver III or Silver II. Sooo like Gold II-Emerald V is the ideal position you want to go for.Posted on 14 February 2017 - 06:47 PM
Elo and Ranks are not very comparable, just know that the people who are 2k Elo+ are either Emeralds MasterPosted on 15 February 2017 - 07:02 AM
