It's 'AN' FFA. An is used before words that start with a vowel sound ({E}f-Ef-Ay) and 'A' is the opposite [a consonant sound]Ex. I took a Banana ({B}a-Na-Na)

I say an, however it depends. I'll elaborate. It depends how you read it; some people read FFA as Free For All, and in that case, it would be a FFA. Typically though, it is an as people usually say eff eff ay, which would then be an.
Consensus: It depends how they read it, although typically just an.

An FFA. However, if it's free-for-all then it'll be a free-for-all.Basically what that halfcreeper nerd said.

If the word after the a/an is a vowel sounding word (a, i, u, e, o, sound) it will be an, else it's a.e.g. FFA is pronounced Eff eff aye, therefor it's 'an'.

It flows more when you say 'an' but 'a' is the grammatically correct way to say it. You shouldn't actually say 'an' as there is not a vowel as the first letter of 'FFA'What Erouax said is also kind of true too. It's a weird one since 'FFA' is an abbreviation.

It's an FFA because you pronounce it eff-eff-a and the e sound comes first and e is a vowel. An always comes before a word that starts with letter that is pronounced like a vowel (most of the time is a vowel) Therefore, it's an. I hope I explained that right.Edit: So many people already explained this. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It can be either. If you say eff-eff-a it's an, but if you say Free For All it's a
