Unranked don't mindRanked don't really want the semi-popular ladders becoming dead as some bow players who like build will play it.

-1 for ranked.This would split players too much. There are already enough ranked kits that some of them barely have enough people playing them to queue into a game in less than 5 hours.
EDIT: +1 for unranked, though.

-1 simply because I've played the kit and played it ranked, the kit has nothing to do with mimicking a real uhc situtation. The items in the kit are similar, but nobody would play within the boundaries that they play arena when in an actual uhc. You'll get just as much practice, if any, from meetups and build.
