First of all, Great to hear that you have been here so long. I still remember you as staff and those were the good ol days.


1. Do you currently play other games as of now?

2. what is your best memory from being a staff member?

3. Do you have plans of being more active in the community at all?

4. Story of your name for those who do not now.

5. What do you think of minecraft becoming an esport?

Those were some pretty good old days..

1.) I mostly play Overwatch and GoW 4 (PC), with the very occasional game of CS in the mix. I don't have as much time as I used to, so when I do play, it tends to be those three games.

2.) My best memory has to be me getting wasted while talking to Archy and Gberry. Though they proceeded to make fun of me for a few hours, it was probably one of the funniest experiences I ever had. Just for a clear understanding, I don't directly remember that night (other than bits and pieces), however, Smellypenguin recorded a good amount of the stuff and you could clearly tell how bad it was. I sure wish I could see that video at least one more time…

3.) I probably won't become more active for two reasons. The people that I thoroughly enjoyed playing with and talking to when I did play no longer play; and the game just isn't what it used to be to me anymore. I'll probably just stick strictly to this AMA

4.) This one is kind of interesting, but it also isn't at the same time. My previous name was just shadow with a bunch of numbers at the end of it. (I know, super edgy, super cringe. I regret ever having that name). After that, I decided to start a Youtube account, and created a name that I won't mention simply because I'd rather jump off of the golden gate bridge then let everyone here see any of the videos I posted on that channel. My friend eventually told me the name was unoriginal, and that he recommended that if I wanted to do anything on Youtube, I had to separate myself from the others. He figured that if I had an original name, people could search for me and find my channel a lot easier compared to if I named myself something that could be easily flooded by other content creators. I was in my gym class freshman year of HS for last period, and the basketball team / volleyball team were setting up for a game they had immediately after school. This meant we got to sit on the bleachers and relax and talk among each other. It was there that my name was created. Ultimately, it was between Viprite, and Tristanite. My logic at the time was that my name wasn't Tristan, so it made no sense for me to go with the latter. The funniest part is, NOBODY pronounces my name right the first time they see it; I never really made a hassle over it though.

5.) Personally, I never thought I'd see those two words in the same sentence. I'm really not quite sure as to whether it'll work or not. As far as I know, it's already competitive, but it just needs an audience.

Definitely something I would've done differently.

Less work.

What younger me didn't understand was that although the experience was really nice and the people were amazingly friendly; it wasn't all life had to offer. Looking back, the way I spent my time was very wasteful. If I were to do something differently, it most definitely would've been to spend a lot less time Moderating and playing.

Though I bullied a lot of the newer staff that joined the team, I actually liked them. You included. Yeah, you continuously annoyed me, and yeah, I was very immature about it and definitely abused my power (though I never had any malicious intention, I was just trying to have some good 'ole immature fun). You were probably one of the people I preferred talking to after most of the old staff left. Now? I have no idea, I don't talk to you. Perhaps we should change that ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) .

I would LIKE to become an engineer of some sorts. I'm currently trying to work out an internship with a company I'm contracted to over the summer. The company is called Firmenich, and it's a world-wide chemical production company. Once I get through that, i'll have a taste of Chemical engineering and what the jobs entail that way I can decide if i'd like to pursue it any further.

What will I probably end up doing in the future? I have no clue at all. Only time can tell I guess.

I'm not really sure seeing how i'm not a staff member anymore. In the past when the community was 1/10th and even 1/100th of what it is now, the staff team was really close and friendly. We all spoke to each other all the time and generally enjoyed being around each other. As far as I know, when I left the team it was nothing like it was in the past. The one thing that does disappoint me is how hard it is to directly speak with a staff member. I had a difficult time trying to get in touch with one of the staff members so I could send them something I wanted to be passed along to another staff member. Took me about thirty minutes of PMing and figuring out who was AFK and who wasn't. The Teamspeak used to have help rooms where the staff team would help anyone who had joined, but those rooms don't exist anymore, and apparently, they haven't existed for quite some time.
