The reason I'm making this thread is because my birthday was a few months ago, and I was planning to buy a rank from the money I got for my birthday but unfortunately I couldn't buy a rank because now you can only buy them for a month in the shop. So in my opinion, the way ranks are currently are unfair for the following reasons:-You can't buy lifetime ranks anymore.
-People who bought a lifetime rank have it made for them because…
-They get free premium time, as if the rank they had, and the same permissions lion gets if they pay for premium wasn't enough.
-They don't lose their rank on regular badlion once their time is up
-Lions actually get more premium time than their rank is worth (I'm not sure but if I'm not mistaken their rank was $75.00 and each month is $5 and they get 2 years free of badlion premium so that's $120 worth of premium time, so this is making you lose money).
Honestly, you guys should just make it so people like me who don't have a rank, can at least buy one before premium comes out.

$5 for Badlion Open per month and $10 for Badlion Premium really isn't that expensive, $10 is only worth one good skin in League while you get pretty much the FULL Badlion Premium Experience for a month for the same price, it's really good.The people who got lifetime ranks were people who had already invested and decided to support Badlion without knowing about BL Premium, a thank you gift to those who had chosen to give that much money and it would be wrong to take away what they bought without compensation. It was not aimed for the people who were going to cram it in last second for the perks. It sucks that you didn't get it yeah but that's because you were too late to invest. Life happens.

Badlion is a business as well as a server; they need money to run. So what's the problem with moving away from something which cannot stay financially stable to something that can? And no, they aren't money whores; if they just wanted money, they would sell unbans.Effectively, your suggestion is to have lifetime ranks for a year and then have Badlion shut down entirely soon after since they can't be profitable. I think they're alternative is fairly good.

I sure as hell wouldn't.Anyways, the fact of the matter is that Badlion isn't selling lifetime ranks anymore. It is less financially stable because this isn't a server like Hypixel where money is spent on cosmetics and boosters to provide a steady and reliable source of income. Badlion pretty much relies on ranks to make a profit and maintain the server. So, selling non-lifetime ranks is a much better idea than selling lifetime ranks because people will buy more often. You also have to realize that nobody is forcing you to buy premium. And, it's honestly not as expensive as you think. $10 isn't a ton of money. I'm sure you can make $20 by doing a half ass job at shoveling one of your neighbor's driveways during the winter season. That might take 15-30 minutes. So, that's 2 months of premium for 30 minutes of being semi-productive in society.
