I'm failing school I have a D+ and 3 C+ and if I don't make Atleast Honor role my dad will take away my iPhone, iPad and Computer until Summer.The semester ends in 2-3 weeks so. I need some help with grades and I actually want smart people to reply on this thread
Science - I'm retaking a quiz next week after vacation it's about Evolution. I got a 60 on it and I can only bump it up to a 70 but I could get my grade up by homework. What's some thing I need to know about Evolution???
LA - It's impossible to read books for me Atleast. We're reading this book called To Kill a Mockingbird, if anyone read it what happens in Chapters 12-20
Math - I have a D+ in this so I definitly need to get this up. My problem is quizzes I always get 0-25s on the quizzes, does anyone know Graphing and plotting pojnts, how to find slopes, Y intercepts and X intercepts
SS (Social Studies) - Hate our teacher she hasn't graded stuff so my grade should get up to a B

I suggest not playing on any screen and not allowing yourself to procrastinate at least for the next 2-3 weeks. If you find yourself playing mc or some shit, think to yourself "Could I be actually doing something constructive instead of this?" and get to doing something, for example practisingn with questions in the textbook.To Kill A Mockingbird is a good book, it may seem slow but I highly suggest you read it one night. It will help.
Maths, you should know y = mx + c where c is the y intercept and m is the gradient. Idrk where you are in terms of maths so can't really help you (m1 + m2 = -1?)

If I can give you one tip in Math, it is to keep practising and keep solving different questions so that you know what you're having a hard time on and you can work on that, especially on your textbook. Your textbook most likely has an answer sheet on the back so after you're done answering the questions, check your answers for any mistakes and learn from them.
For LA, assuming that it's ELA for US, just read the book lmao.
Same thing for the other subjects, read over your notes, and you can even try watching some videos on Youtube about the topics you're learning about.

Have a good mentality about learning and pay attention. It sounds cheesey, but if you enjoy what you're learning and want to inprove, you will. Also, don't think that you suck at school, think the opposite and you'll be much better and preform more confidently.Posted on 24 February 2017 - 05:02 PM
