Now, don't get me wrong. Badlion was always a pretty good SG server, not just for uhc, but now that MCSG is down, Badlion would have to become a bit more Survival Games oriented if the gamemode is going to keep existing. I'm not sure if the admins WANT to do this, but I had a few suggestions on ways to improve Badlion SG.Combos - Badlion never really was much of a combo server. Usually, unless you're in a PotPVP fight, it's almost impossible to get a good combo unless you have a fishing rod. You should probably adjust the knockback to a point where combos are possible.
Spectator Mode - Not saying that this would serve much purpose, but if someone wanted to overview a map, say, for the purpose of the introduction of a montage, or watching a friend's game, it should be possible for a donor to join a game that has already started, and be able to spectate said game.
Secondary Weapons - Most MCSG players are used to the only secondary weapons being the bow, the fishing rod, and the flint and steel. Adding a ton of new weapons like cobwebs and TNT over-complicates things, and if a player learns how to use them correctly, can be SO MUCH more devastating than other secondaries. I don't know about the admins, but I don't want a fight switching into a players favor that quickly. In turn, increase the durability of the flint and steel. Now, I know it was lowered to prevent spam, but that's just going to lower its popularity. I suggest raising it to at least 4 charges, at most 10.
Teams - 2v1s are hard on their own, but they make really good montage clips. So, how about raising the maximum by 1 player? Teams of 3 would certainly swing an unfair advantage. But those players who are skilled enough to deal with teams won't have any problem with this. And to counter this, make a separate mode where NO TEAMING is allowed AT ALL. So if you don't want to put up with teams, you can go into solo mode. And if you have friends, or you're just looking for montage clips, then you can go into team mode. But don't make teaming a requirement.
Can a staff member give me feedback on this? If you don't like a suggestion, can you please let me know why?

but here's some feedback if you want some :Combos: i feel like the kb is fine tbh
Spec: Ya, good idea to add in the future when they have some time
Secondaries: Hive has cobwebs and TNT, its actually pretty fun to use, idk why you want them removed that much. FNS 4 charges, i'd like to see
Teams: Unless there is unranked, no three teams… Two good players teaming properly is hard enough to kill and if they want to have SG really competitive, too many solo grinding will end up complaining. Plus, it happens people don't even know about the team limit rule and end 3 teaming anyways. For your solo idea, they used to have it like that, no one really played, same goes for MCSG when they added the future…

-1 fighting teams is so fun, i hate solo sg
I also have to admit im a not a big fan of the supply drops. You dont even need a route: just run around and wait until the supply and get good gear. Its kinda frustrating when you are really stacked from your route and someone gets op gear from the supply drops and beats you in dm.

Actually, seems like most people rather go looking for kills. I almost never see anybody at the supply drop.Posted on 10 March 2017 - 04:42 PM
