Hello everyone! It seems today that every game at least 5-10 of you get 'X-Rayed' to, but the person isn't banned and you don't get respawned, which generally follows with the following helpop: "OMG HOSTS DO YOUR JOB" which is very annoying for us, especially when we do watch 99% of the times that it is brought to our attention, that 1% being we didn't see the message ;-;

So I am going to give some tips on how to help the hosts get X-Rayers banned!

1) This is obvious, but really important TELL US!!! Either through helpop (/helpop) or messages (/msg).

2) Be shifted, yes it may seem dumb to not run away from a cheater, but if you unshift whilst being dug on they can see your name tag.

3) Do not make noise. Don't eat a Golden Apple right before they get to you, don't mine blocks literally don't do anything. Noise can be heard up to 16 blocks away, sometimes more I think, so stay quiet.

4) Be concealed, this is where many get it wrong. Do not hide in cobblestone or wood, because both only spawn naturally in mine shafts and spawners which are valuable and people almost always check out. Try to be behind blocks that naturally are there like stone. [Edit: smelt some cobblestone and keep it in your inventory so you can cover yourself with it later if you need to] Dirt and gravel are good if there is other dirt and gravel there already.

5) Use toggle sneak, this way you don't have to hold the shift key the whole time!

6) Record, if you can record your perspective it is beneficial evidence for staff as well.

7) Have a friend, being in a TeamSpeak or Discord with someone even in FFA is ok, you can get your friend(s) to alert the hosts if you can't etc.

So those are some important things to know, here is what not to do.

1) Automatically think that because you hear mining sounds you are being X-Rayed to, name tags can be seen from a fair distance away, so unless you want to shift the whole game, think about when you last unshifted. If you are unshifted hear noises and then shift, they've already seen you :/

2) Don't abuse the host or staff if you die, for a couple of reasons, one it is infuriating, two it will probably get you muted, three what's the point abusing staff does not mean they will just ban the person.

3) Please do not say anything in game chat or spectator chat that someone is X-Raying like please that is just an easy mute.

when a to2 from surface starts digging on you when your on y11 and the host says you were making "noise" luckily i didnt die

side note: they were above me for a good 10 minutes shifting and just waiting to dig
