Mutes / First Amendment

I think The First Amendment, should take place on badlion allowing us the freedom of speech, thus removing mutes from the network as a whole. Yes some things could become toxic, and thats why I think only the simple things like typing a simple letter, " L " on the network, really shouldn't be muteable, and things like " kill yourself " should be, as suicidal threats should be taken serious over a fucking letter. I got muted for an ENTIRE WEEK for typing, L and I think thats just plain fucking ridiculous. If I typed " Kill yourself " I would be muted for the same length. Like really? common fucking sense.Last edited on 14 March 2017 - 09:28 PM by FunkyFactions

If you haven't noticed the US Government doesn't run Badlion, Gberry and Archybot do. The First Amendment would have no place in a minecraft server anyway as it applies to real life, not video games.

Maybe if you learned your lesson after the first few mutes this wouldn't be so much of an issue.

Funny you mention common sense, maybe if you had some of it this thread wouldn't be a thing.

We don't need the first amendment on here… Some things are offensive to some people and I would rather have a toxic free chat then a toxic chatPosted on 14 March 2017 - 10:21 PM

This isn't the United States. This is Badlion. The United States has laws, and so does Badlion (the rules). Either follow them, or you get punished. The funny thing is, a majority of people who play Badlion don't even live in the US, so it makes 0 sense why you would bring up the First Amendment. Even in the US you can't say certain things, otherwise you'll get in trouble. You can't just go around yelling "FIRE" because then you'll get in legal trouble. Just like this, you can't go on Badlion and tell people to kill themselves. Just grow up and learn to be respectable and mature.Locked because this thread is just downright stupid.
