how does one mix packs effectively

so i'm trying to learn how to mix textures from my favorite packs into one pack i'd like. does anyone have tips for me?

you move the textures from one pack to the other..

i think you saw this differently than what i meant for it to say. i'm asking for what i should do to fit my personal preference.

Just add the things you like from the packs into the new pack. Say if you like the blocks from one pack but the items from another, you can just drag the respective folders from the packs into the new pack. Make sure you have the folders laid out correctly and that you have the mcmeta file.
