The only time I faced christhenoob was 2v2 w/ me and Apollo vs chris and Eddard/King
we won every match cause Eddard held chris's potential down.

This is not meant for the archer ladder, just the bow itself in general.

I've lost a lot of my old touch, otherwise I'd have included myself.I think christhenoob is on his own tier these days, and Hivlik's got that really trippy strafe.
There are plenty of very decent archers that deserve a mention—off the top my head:
TheKingOfWinter, emigurt27, dragonpasa and Parkway32
When Varicks gets back into it, he'll join the top tier list

It's hard to compare people for the reasons stated. I don't think Morsinius or Hivlik are strictly better than each other. Hivlik says Mors is better than him, but Hivlik gives me a much harder time than Mors. Maybe it's psychological or just because of how our styles clash, dunno. Numbers 2-10 are pretty subjective, but most people's #1 spot is pretty spot on ; )I do think Hivlik plays the ladder game better than pretty much everybody. He has remarkable consistency, and that's important whereas the others can get psyched out and can get losses against people they really shouldn't lose to. My consistency can be chalked up to my infallible confidence and rampant egotism, but hey, whatever works.
Edit: I'm offended that Dragonpasa didn't include me ;c

Someone that Hivlik mentioned that no one else has is Cameritbadge. He's hands down the best shot in RMCT and would probably beat a good majority of the people that have been mentioned here. His biggest downfall though is that he rarely plays outside of Race For Wool, so not many people know about how good he is. On the flipside, he's joined Impact recently, so maybe people will become more exposed to how good he is. Other than that slightly out of the blue pick, off the top of my head, chris is hands down in a league of his own, and Hivlik, Morsinius, dragonpasa, and Parkway32 are all close behind.Posted on 08 December 2014 - 06:18 PM
