So,I was playing a UHC on hypixel and about halfway into the game I see a bunch of people just typing hypixel "memes" in chat so I decide to partake in this. I said "die urslef" as a joke and I said "Im kidding don't end your life" afterwards. I got muted at first which I think is quite reasonable shortly after I die (surprise). The next day I try to log on and I'm perma banned for "Verbal Abuse." I can sort of understand it as there is a big toxicity problem on hypixel and I can tell the mods are really cracking down on the toxicity. The thing is my friends said "kys izi pizi" and got a 6 day ban whereas I say "die urself" AND clarify after that yields a ban for me, nice one hypixel.

A helper probablly saw that you said that in chat. He/she probablly muted you so you couldn't say anything else in chat. Then, he/she probablly told a mod, and then that mod banned you, since helpers on Hypixel don't have ban perms. It's also a rule that suicide encouragment and verbal abuse result in a ban. Either way, suicide encouragement is a pretty big issue, and it shouldn't be treated as a joke. Ya never know, someone could be on the verge of suicide and just be on Minecraft to blow off some steam.Posted on 23 March 2017 - 04:22 PM

There are a ton of chat related offenses are are perm bannable on Badlion still.

Hypixel is mad strict on suicide encouragement, so unless you say "kys in-game" they will probably ban you. Anyways, your ban was a perm ban probably because you were banned before.
