i can't join Arena PVP matches becuase apparently I'm using 11 more packets than it can take, anything I can do?

IT SAYS:
Internal Exception:io.netty.handler.codec.decoderException:java.io.IOException:Packet 0/69 (ie) was larger than I expected, found 11 bytes extra whilst reading packet 69.

Please help.
