Hello, I am currently an officer of the clan Parasite. I would like to suggest an idea for clans and to make them more competitive. Due to Premium coming out Badlion is clearly trying to become more competitive and branch out. By doing this they have made an agreement with ESL as well as bringing in Partner ranks. From what I have seen they aren't having quite the impact that they should. Mentally a partner recently resigned from his position leaving two non English partners. This could be seen as an issue as most of the community predominantly speak English. This in my opinion will not bring in the players needed to hold an e-sport. This leads on to my suggestion. How can we make Badlion more competitive.

My suggestion is clan leagues. If you are a soccer/Football fan this would be similar to the Premier League or Bundesliga.

Two main differences would be:

-It's not football
-At the end of the league there would be a final between the top two teams.

This league would include all clans that sign up at the start. Ideally this would hold 8-10 clans. There would be different leagues for Eu and Na. It might be a struggle to get this many clans though it could really lift off if people knew about it. These clans would play it out every weekend at at a suitable time. I suggest this would be around 5 o'clock any time. These games would be 5v5 in the kit Build UHC. These games will be best of 5. A league table should be made by Tournament advisors and they will take in the scores at the end of each game. They will also check that the events run smoothly. This would need an influx in tournament advisors as they would need 1 Advisor per game. These advisors will also record the game and upload this to a Badlion League play channel. This should be created and run by The tournament team and Managers such as Listen. Unlike current clan battles this needs a better form of communication. The way this could happen is a discord server with Tournament staff and clan Officers and Owners. This would be an efficient way to communicate.

Rules

Of course with a event like this players could try to cheat. So here are some rules

- No Hacked Clients of any kind
- Lying about your score in a game could end in your team being put back to 0 points
- There would be 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw and 0 points for a loss.
- Spectating is allowed once you die. You may not spoil once dead.
- Teams must have at least 6 people. They may go up to 8. THis means you can have a maximum of 3 subs. This gives leniency on people not having time to play these matches.
- IF a clan doesn't turn up to a match on time you must wait 10 mins. If they contact you they might be a 20 mins late, please wait for this time.
- When a clan doesn't turn up you may accept the 3 points and notify a tournament adivisor.
- Each team will play each other 1 time.
- This will also include all Badlion rules. Stated here https://www.badlion.net/wiki/rules
- You may enter a team for each proxy. For say Ominous could enter an NA team and a EU team.

This Tournament will hopefully last 10 weeks. This will include 9 weeks weeks of league play with each team playing each other once. The last week will be the final, week 10. If you win this game you will receive an $1000 cash prize.

How will this benefit competitive Minecraft

These games will hopefully and I believe successfully bring in more players to the competitive game. This would be achieved as stated earlier by the Tournament staff and recording these games. Hopefully this will bring in fans who might support a team. This is also open to the community as any team could sign up. This would be the first 8-10 teams to sign up. I for one would certainly enjoy watching these short videos of each battle. This could also involve the community for people who make graphics as you could hire a Graphics team to make thumbnails as well as logo's and banners. Hopefully this could make Badlion a much more competitive place and could certainly grow it.

Neutral. Yeah something like this would be good, but not this imo. Just a few opinion points:

-Anything competitive shouldn't just be one 5v5 kit
-You can't really spoil because you can't see inventories. If you mean when you die you can't tell your team what the enemy got from you or what healths they are at, that just means less team communication which is a lower skill cap. Aside from that though it's hard to enforce anyway so I don't think it should be a rule.
-A $1000 prize pool for this seems a bit steep tbh

I'd definitely like some kind of clan league but it requires a lot of work from the staff team for something that wouldn't benefit them very much

-Rosters should be editable, because this is in a span of time, you cant clearly predict who will and wont make it (idk if it said that, am dyxlseic)
-Base global kits should stay

Just gonna list my thoughts:

• If something like this were to be made it would need to be Badlion themselves

• When the community has tried to do similar things it has never really worked eg. EUCLB

• Clans now are meant for community now anyways, Premium Teams is who this should be for

• I think that something like a 5v5 league is coming on Premium anyway (not sure)

• Build shouldn't be the only kit, I think it should replicate PUG Arena (Bo1 for Build, SG, UHC, Debuff + Soup)

• Really Arena in itself shouldn't be everything option as payed tournaments are going to be the 5 PUG kits as in Premium
