The reason why clans like Rift are doing well is that they have a good community, and when there is a good community others naturally join it and grows the clan.

Wait until Teams in Premium become a thing and I'm sure there will be a lot of competition, but Clans are more about community now and the competitive aspect just isn't as important
I only comment about that if it's appropriate smh. He asked for my honest opinion on Rift and i gave it to him. I already stated my point so i'm not going to repeat myself, but i'm pretty sure clans were made to battle each other the majority of the time (obviously making a community within your clan is important but you don't have to do it like these big clans are it's over the top) but hey, times have changed people care more about building their communities than doing the thing clans were made for. (Battling)

EDIT: Also not everyone wants to pay for or doesn't have enough money to pay for premium.

That's kind of the point, and Nitro doesn't exist anymore btw. I also like how you tried to name smaller clans that have averagely skilled players. The only clans that you named that is comp for you guys is either Saber or Inertia (Pulse probably will in the future) Rival has a couple of pretty good players but i don't know if they have clan experience so i didn't list them.

Rift isn't holding back anything. There still are a lot of clans it would be a problem if Rift was by FAR the most dominant clan. Even on MCSG there were a lot of clans as you want it to bebut there were always a few specific dominant clans for ex: Rasclarts

There will be concequences if you limit the player count like:

- Being forced to kick a player when one of the better players join the clan.

- Less people making it to the clan wars (Global clans need a variation of players)

- Having trouble keeping the clans alive. If around 10 people leave the clan around the same time it will have a huge impact on the future of the clan.

70-10= 60 Not too bad
25-10= 15 That's a problem

When the amount of players drop drastically the owner will be less motivated to revive the clan and even more players will leave

You're obviously not going to understand and think differently because you're in Rift.
