Recently, I've noticed that some Badlion youtubers have been saying that they haven't enjoyed the game as much, as people take it too seriously, so I came up with an strange idea. What if each player had a hidden "sweat" value?What would it do?
The "sweat" value would be taken into account when placing players in matchups against each other in gamemodes such as arena 1v1. This would make it so the more casual players could play casually and have a good time, independent of their actual skill. In addition, it would place people who are going for stats against each other, leading to more intense fights.
How would it be determined?
As of now, I believe a players "sweat" value could be determined by bayesian math. Basically, you could report people for tryharding in a match, and the server could use that player's actions during the previous match to determine what "sweating" is (casting the rod multiple times on low health, bow spamming at low health, etc.) After awhile, the server will have a pretty good sense of what a sweaty player does, and will be able to mostly determine sweaty players by itself. Then, the server would determine how much that person's "sweat" value would rise, by determining whether it was justified (rankup match) or unjustified (fighting against a famous player).
How do you avoid abusing other players by false reporting?
Players could, in addition to a "sweat" value, also have a "reputation" value. Essentially, your "reputation" goes up if you report a legitimately sweaty player as "sweaty", but goes down if you falsely report. Therefore, if somebody was pissed off and reported everyone who killed them as "sweaty", their "reputation" would fall, and their opponents's "sweaty" value would only go up a little. Ultimately, your "reputation" value shows how reliable you are. In addition, reputation could also go down when players are punished (muted, banned).
Lastly, only YOU can view your "sweaty" and "reputation" stats, and this would would prevent harassment, but allows a player to show that they are not sweaty if they want to.
Final remarks:
Purchasable reset (If a player decided playing against other sweaty players wasn't fun and wanted to just have fun)
Sweat would range between 0 and 1000, starting at 0
Reputation would range between 0 and 10, starting at 5
I know it sound kind of dumb, but what do you guys think?

This seems too complex and pointless. If someone wants to play a certain way that isn't against the rules, let them. We shouldn't add some sort of value that discriminates against certain play styles, only because a group of players don't like their play styles.-1

First off, Can you elaborate on this statement here and more clearly explain how using Bayesian math would work into the situation?Secondly, It would also be hard to tell sometimes if a player is sweating or playing as a more laid back style. Some people will play more laid back and look they are sweating when they are actually not. As UVPickles said, everyone has their own play styles and it may end up confusing as not all of them are easily detectable.

This statement here has a few flaws. You say that the server will be able to tell if someone is sweating or not however, Will the server be 100%? Don't you think the server will make mistakes in these situations and label someone as "sweating" when they truly are not? You also say that the server will get to determine if the sweat is justified or not however there is an issue with this, Players will easily be able to fool the server in it's test and make it confused on justification. What if you join a ranked match and take it easy, you pretty much let the player win but at the same time still make the server think you were trying decently hard? Then you have the option of joining an unranked match and playing very sweaty there and then confusing the server due to the fact of not sweating in a ranked match. You say player's reputation would go up if they correctly reported a sweaty player but as I said above the server will make mistakes, this could very easily lead to a player's personal reputation dropping.
I see your idea but at the moment I see too many flaws with it as well, Feel free to discuss this with me if you have any counter points. Until things are further said I will be giving this a -1

Nope. Good players don't rodspam or bowspam to win. In addition, there's a difference between just getting outskilled and losing because the other player played extremely defensive and like an asshole.

so sweaty = good. if you dont want any type of bad reputation, you have to give up any sort of playstyle that isnt "liked". people will complain anyhow :/
