So yeah, i've been playin' UHC MeetUps since only a day and I already noticed a thing, but I'm pretty sure that I'm not the only having this problem, so:
When I try to merge something in the Anvil it lets me do it, but when I close by pressing The escape key the anvil's screen, the two items i just merged got dropped in the ground near the anvil, and the item that i made by merging the two ones, is gone, as my xp.
Example: I had Two sharp 3 dias, i put em in the anvil, it costs 6 levels, and i get my lovely sharp 4, but when i closed the anvil screen, near the anvil there were dropped the 2 sharp 3 back, but my 6 levels were gone. Any fix? Pratically i do Not have the possibility
to use anvils, that's so annoying and it makes for me the game harder

@Vilebloom Reading this I'm guessing you are using 1.8 or higher as client. Due to the fact our servers run 1.7 there is a difference in the levels you need. 1.7 levels are a bit more expensive when it comes down to combining items. Therefor when you're playing with 1.8 or higher your client shows the wrong levels needed and acts as if the items were combined but in fact they didn't. If you are playing on 1.8 you can confirm if an item is combined when the sound is played. If you don't have the correct levels the sound will not be played.

Let me know if you have more questions or if you're not using 1.8 or above.
