Why is it that almost no AU UHCs are hosted anymore and that half the AU people are lagging.Its still holidays for NZ as well, it just makes no sense.

AU generally has poor internet from what I've heard. There isn't too much Badlion can do about that. Also, if you think that there aren't enough hosts, apply for host yourself.

As far as I know AU is not shutting down. Games aren't getting hosted right now as for most hosts school has just gone back. The same thing happened at the beginning of last term. We have lives and I know many of the hosts are busy not just tonight, but in general. We do care that games get hosted and on the whole from about 8am each day someone is putting in the if you can host today please do so and we do try to organize it.

I can't speak for as to why others aren't hosting and getting every game claimed, but as for myself I am on LOA as I am just a bit burnt out and having some other issues that are personal. I am trying to get back into it, but as it stands currently I only host when needed and when I am available and I see this continuing for probably another week as I have lots of important school things on.

We have just gotten another new trial when I say new I mean new to UHC Staff, which is PoisonShadows, he currently can't host alone and has been trying to get supervised, but another host has to be available for about 15 minutes before the game, the entirety of the game and 15 minutes post game. Jorddehh and Twisz both recently became full hosts and are hosting when they are available.

I understand it is frustrating that games aren't getting hosted on a super consistent basis at the moment, but hopefully between all current and future AU hosts we can organize ourselves in a way that at least 2 games a day are hosted. We need you to be patient with us as at least 3 of us are in our final years of schooling and need to prioritize that over hosting sometimes. Trust me when I say this, if we are able to host we do there isn't going to be a game missed because someone can't be bothered or something along those lines as we signed up to help the community.

To address the lag issue, this is something we are very well aware of and doesn't need to be constantly being complained about to us. MasterGBerry has looked into it and it appears that Telstra is routing AU to Asia or NA for some odd reason and even if you aren't with Telstra many other ISPs use Telstra's lines as well such as Optus. The best thing we can do is to contact our respective ISP and tell them what the issue is and they can hopefully fix that.

Finally, if you want more games hosted you can A) Apply if you think you are suitable to be a host or B) Be grateful games get claimed and don't complain that "oh you last minute claimed so it's a crap fill" because we never claim late just to get a bad fill as that is dumb. Also please to anyone reading this, try to be respectful to the staff, if you want us to help you at least treat us with respect.
