Who do you guys think is the closest player to the skillcap?I know giving my opinion will trigger na/eu sweats but honestly I'm convinced LittleLevi is the closest, if not Brndy.

Brndy probably atm, Danteh was probably the closest of all time thoughnot littlelevi though lol
edit: kikzo might be closer than brndy he's top 100 in everything except for pot ladders (but he's emerald 2 in gapple and emerald 4 nodebuff so he's still rly good)

I'm not saying you're wrong and I probably would agree with your opinion, but are you discounting Levi on the premise that he's AU or you haven't seen him play? The dude is nuts, maybe not the best, still nuts though.

The skill cap for overall? You first have to decide what the actual skillcap is and then base the players from said cap. You need to create a specific level or variable to judge other players upon said variable. You need to consider the intervals of their playstyle, skill per ladder, and several other factors.Posted on 05 May 2017 - 08:17 PM

what has already been worked into pvp
rod- nonspeed / uhc / sg
world- uhc
potion- potpvp
gapple- uhc / gapple ladder
axe- axepvp
horse- uhc / horse ladder
soup- revamped and made into its own gamemode which was original pvp- soup pvp
cobwebs- mineZ / uhc / sometimes SG
damn if 1.9 weren't so shitty elytra PvP would probably be a thing by now in uhc or something

Rating is much easier to get in EU/NA. This isn't because they're worse skill wise, but just sheerly due to the average mmr of players being higher because there's a larger group of players. You're more likely to run into players who will give you more rating in EU/NA than SA/EU.
I'll give you an example
LittleLevi is 164-0 in Horse with Emerald II 136 points
m0xy is slightly above him with 173-33 at Emerald II 630 points.
Despite not losing a single game, Levi has a harder time climbing because he only gets matched against lower skilled players. He hasn't lost a match, if his stats were matched with m0xy he'd drop out of Emerald. (This isn't to say he's better or worse than m0xy, just that getting rating on regions with a low player size is more difficult. Back when I played ranked I had to wait like 5 minutes to get queued with someone in build at peak times.)
To clarify: I'm not saying AU/SA is better than EU/NA, in all liklihood it's the opposite. Just that it's easier to grind elo MMR when you can actually verse players who give you more than 13 points.

In my opinion the players closest to the global skillcap are moxy and LegendCaleb they aren't they best at anything but they are really good in everysingle kit
