did kb really change that much?

so i'm looking at videos from 1-2 years ago in both old recordings and on my channel and I've noticed that there's few differences in the actual kb changes. take this video from 2 years agoas an example video where that guy took a lot of kb for half the hits and barely for the other half. if you compare that to something like this
i generally notice the same thing happening, and that's just how the game works. also the first video is a shitty unranked game so the guy i was fighting was shit but you get the point. so what's really changed between now and then that makes the game feel so much different?

the first video is probably like 90-120 ping and the second video is probably mostly 70-130 ping but it's harder to tell what ping people have now

I honestly believe that Kb has really only changed for people with higher ping. Like KB has always been great for me and I never understood why people were complaining. It wasn't just that I enjoyed the different KB, it was just that it was exactly the same for me, but people were still complaining. So either everyone is stupid or laggy people get weird KB from their POV and non laggy people get good KB while fighting idek. Everyone on here lags so there's not much of a point in even bringing up kb anymore.If I had to mention anything for this though, I don't think the kb changed much in general.

Rodtricking someone or trying to fall back without getting killed isn't a thing anymore for me
