People thought that only people like Gax Dante and Larzz would be able to get masters but look at the current leaderboards.I agree with this

I think you may have misunderstood what I said. I meant that during season 12 people thought that only a very select few would be able to achieve masters. Gax Larzz and Danteh were the highest rated build players so people said it would be them. Right now there are a lot of masters players… not only around 3 - 5 like assumed. So since people think now "I wonder how many people will hit grandmaster" there may end up being a lot. (Which is unlikely but still possible)

It will be A LOT more people than what you guys are guessing because most of the guesses are off the current leaderboards. Next season they will bring a crap ton of people back for elo and some of them will most likely get grandmasters. Depends on a few things:What the ELO for Grandmasters is?
How long the season goes on for?
However because they are making it easier for higher skilled players to rank up, definitely expect the ELO record for every kit to be broken next Season

Hopefully very few. It would be nice if it was a really prestigious rank and not ~100 people had it like masters.
