There should be a Elo decay similar to how there is in Overwatch. This would keep high rated players online and playing ranked. If you get really high on leaderboards there is no reason to play anymore and that is why many people have stopped playing this season. If someone's elo would slowly drop after a specific time period people would be forced to play or their stats could plummet. I think you should only have to play a couple ranked games in any kit to prevent this. A perk for ranks could also be that your rating would decay less or you get more time before it starts.Don't say that this is a overwatch copy. If you want to complain about copying go look at the new rating system.

i wouldn't be against this, however As it stands i don't like the decay system in overwatch (im not affected by it) but even im not a fan of this

In my opinon, -1My reasoning is I feel that some people shouldn't have to be forced to play ranked because they will lose their rank on the leader boards.

Copied?….The elo system was a thing before overwatch….. if they copied someone it has to be league of legends…. but i guess all 3 work

Why would you want to be playing constantly at such a high ELO where one mishap could drain you significantly? Not a big fan of this. I rarely play ranked, but I consider myself to be a pretty active player in unranked.-1

-1 If you work hard to get your elo up and get to a point where you are satisfied with it, you shouldn't be punished by it slowly dropping. You can always play minigames, unranked, with friends/clan members … No need to be forced into playing ranked.Posted on 07 May 2017 - 05:38 PM

We have not decided if we want a decay yet.For now it's undecided and will remain that way until we see a good set of reasons to add it.
