Recently a thread was made announcing that season 15 will have elo again because a lot of people hated the new MMR system. Even though elo is inferior in many ways, the community still threw a tantrum about it being removed:In my opinion listening the the community is more important, even if they're advocating for something which isn't necessarily better.
People are very unhappy about premium being 1.8 instead of 1.7 as. Again this is exactly the same with MMR vs Elo. Even if one system is inferior it's still important to listen to the community.
From my knowledge 1.8 is much easier than 1.7 as a version to code. To add more of Badlion's population play 1.8. Therefore 1.8 can be debated to be the better version to base premium on.
However, this is one of the main reasons why premium has deterred a lot of players.
Even though 1.8 is arguably better the community still are displeased. As I said before listening to what the community wants is much more important. Premium will be a massive success if you listen to what the community wants
To clear things up I'm not really bothered how premium is 1.8 but listening to the community is more important even if you don't agree with it. That's why I'm arguing for this change to be made
At the end of the day, I think that listening to the community is what will determine Badlion's success. Don't make the same mistake as other failed servers like OCN of MCSG…

Honestly, this is really true. I hate to just tell the developers to change courses, but too many people complain that premium is in 1.8, and as a result don't play it. I don't really call the shots or anything, but if premium was made to be 1.7, or more optimized to preform/look like 1.7, then there would be less backlash from the community, and more people would play as a result.Posted on 08 May 2017 - 12:52 AM
I have no problems with the client being 1.8 when they fix all off the bugs I will use it all the time. I know I'm not the only one. I umderstand people don't like 1.8, no one does but the client is 1.8 only by the little number you see in the bottom left corner. When people don't cry about stuff and make a post describing what's wrong with it the owners and staff listen. So if someone has a really good reason for the client being 1.7 (and I mean an actual good reason) post it here and try to make it happen.Posted on 08 May 2017 - 12:53 AM

People are not happy with the Badlion Minecraft Client because it is still not 100% emulating 1.7 behavior as it is supposed to. We have said in every patch for Badlion Premium in the past few weeks that we are still working on improving the 1.7 backwards compatibility and we are still not done with it. We actually have plans to by default enable all 1.7 gameplay behavior, but it's not working completely yet so we don't want to force it.
We cannot nor at this point will we backport all of our work to Minecraft 1.7. This would be a backwards step for Badlion Premium and the Badlion Client overall and would take us more time to do than just fixing the 1.7 behaviors which we have not yet. I am all for listening to the community, and what the community wants is the feel and gameplay of 1.7. 1.7 is just a decimal otherwise. We have full intentions to deliver the gameplay of 1.7 with the Badlion Minecraft Client.
We have lots of improvements to continue to make on the Badlion Minecraft Client but the biggest issue for us is that 128 TPS gameplay took way longer than anticipated to get done right. The Minecraft Client sadly has way too much power in the setup of the game and therefore way more than originally anticipated had to be fixed to match the faster tick rat.e

I see posts every couple days about how badlion never listen to the players but in reality they listen for example they brought elo back and badlion premium will support any texture pack.
