Lagspikes in minecraft and other games

Ok so I bought a new gpu on Friday. It's supposed to be 10x more powerful than my old potato gpu. But now I'm noticing that after like 20-30 minutes, minecraft has high FPS but feels laggy. Overwatch has 140+ FPS on startup but after 20-30 minutes I get extreme lagspikes. I have overclocked my gpu by 300mhz and my gpu stays around 55 Celsius. How can I solve my problem???CPU: quad core fx 4300
Gpu: gtx 1050 Ti
Old gpu: gt 720

how do i do that. My drivers are up to date and also i found out the core problem. Under load my gpu loses temperature for some reason. I could be running at my normal under load mhz of 1760 mhz and my temp goes from 58 to 46. Then I start lagging even though my core clock is ok
