So, I was viewing the thread that GBerry created on season 15, and how elo is returning, as well as other things that we lost in season 14.However, something caught my eye. http://prntscr.com/f5vkf2 . As you can see, he stated that the points gained from winning a match in season 15 are going to be half (roughly) from what you would gain ins season 12. This will be very unfair to players such as myself though,
who don't have a rank that grants them unlimited ranked matches. In season 12, if you fought someone your rating, you would win (if you won) approximately 13-17 points (At least from my experiences). This will mean that you will get 6 (approx.) to 9 (approx.) points a match if all you queue is people that have close or near your rank. This means after all 20 matches, you will have hardly ranked up 100 points, if you win ALL OF THEM, not to mention that you queue people that have lower ranks than you, and higher, and you might not play the same ladder for all 20 of the matches. This is completely unfair, and I think you should either bumb up the amount of matches people receive daily, or fix voting.

Does voting not work? The points decreasing was aimed at preventing some problems with people being punished too harshly and not players and limitations for their matches. That being the case we most likely will not be changing the number of ranked matches and would rather fix things like voting or encourage people to support the services they are using daily if they are running out of matches that often.Posted on 09 May 2017 - 07:54 PM
