I've been thinking about this for the past week or two, but I would like to know how you guys counter these tactics that many consider to be "annoying".

- Bowspamming in a Melee Ladder

- Rodspamming in a Rod Ladder

- Lavaspamming in BuildUHC

- People doing the stupid water trick in BuildUHC where they place water on a surface to slow you down, and crit you

- People running out debuffs in Pot Ladders

- Etc.

Please tell me how you guys counter these tactics, as I would love to hear some feedback from y'all.

Do what they are doing but in a better way. If someone tries to bow you in build, instead of walling up bow back

bowspam: wall up or bow back, but bowing back is better

rodspam: in build, just wait at the other side of the map, but not too close to walls or corners

in SG, just be patient, if you play aggressive your opponent will land an easy fns

lavaspam: keep your water in an accessible slot and don't let it flow, water right away

waterspam: have the rod in an accessible slot and rod them off when they go for a crit, if you master this you can even get an extra hit this way

running out debuffs: cut them off and try to corner them, try to not pearl as much as they do unless it's a huge map and you have to do so to catch up

tbh I'm against playing annoying so I don't play annoying back that's dumb (unless it's bowspam)
