so if half ELO is gained, and 2800 was 1400 elo above starting point, does that make 2200 godly?if the same range increasing system is a thing, then won't if be possible to get 3k easily?
tbh I want raw ELO back why does bl have to be so complicated
2800 elo was so special and hard to get but someone could grind 1400s at midnight and hit a huge ELO milestone every other day…

I totally agree. This is way more complicated. Some players like me just want to get their ELO up and just go. I personally don't want to aim for "Diamond" "Sapphire" etc.Posted on 13 May 2017 - 01:54 AM

In any case, the range is greater and it's k16. That means that a fair game would be 8 won/loss, which is half of what the previous system was. However, as the range is larger, you'll still get 1 elo from much lower players and it'll be easier to grind off that.
This is very nearly raw elo, just with a few slight improvements.
