G-Cheat Bug
Posted on 15 May 2017 - 02:30 PM
The arena pvp or server's g-cheat doesn't work.My last 4 fight was against +10 block hacker. Badlion is like new MCSG. Also you can't get your point back when they got ban and they get ban when they reached dia5 or emerald 1. Don't tell me to report them. I can report one or two, but there is a lot of them but you guys can give me /ban permisson ;-;

Hi,First, i would say that our anticheat cannot be perfect.
Cheats are always getting more and more powerful.
We're constantly working on upgrading it, but there'll always be players to bypass the rules.
But i don't think all player are cheaters. Fighting only "+10 block reach" hackers seems wrong. At the moment, i see only 2 possible answers :
- You're having a connection issue (on your side or ours), making the enemy at the "wrong" place,
- You're getting against the same cheater again and again.
I want to add a very last thing, it's from Minecraft code itself (not specific to Badlion, but generic on all servers), there's a security to prevent players from hitting beyond 6 blocks (3 if the target is not in line of sight) :

I know there are cheats to bypass that, by faking the player location and stuff, but i want to point out that this security exists in Minecraft itself.
So i don't think this is considered as a "bug", but maybe a request to improve GCheat.

"But i don't think all player are cheaters.".I agree sometimes delay makes player look like cheater.
"You're getting against the same cheater again and again."
No, 14 May I fight against hacker "NoSuchPopCorn " and lost 300 point. After I logged out. He got ban btw.
15 May, I logged in and fight against hacker called "MegaRinnii" and lost 392 point. I logged out.
Also 10 block is not 10 block (only an expression) but it is so blatant he/she hacks. Although you report, Mods don't shows up. The g-cheat or mod bans him after 2-3 day when He/She is emerald 1 or diamond 5. And all of your point is gone. Even you report him in forum.
It is annoying you throw your point to the space. sorry for bad england
