Hello everyone, I'm making this thread to hopefully become a bit better at pvp. I've been pvping since early 2015 and I'm still stuck at Silver. I've reached Gold V a few times in BuildUHC, but that's about it. I guess I could become better at pvp, but I don't know what I'm doing wrong.Posted on 15 May 2017 - 09:44 PM

you're playing too aggressive, try to slow down your gameplay and try to actually land your rods instead of occasionally throwing it out before meleeing and randomly hoping to hit it. Also whenever you're losing at melee you keep fighting and keep losing game control, as I've said just slow down. Blockhitting a bit more would fit your gameplay too, but other than that just keep practicingPosted on 16 May 2017 - 09:03 AM
1) Don't pregap against good players2) Replace the axe on your hotbar with another water bucket
3) You're letting opponents land too many free hits when running away
4) wall up before gapping if the opponent is shooting at you
5) lava more
aside from that you seem pretty good

From what I see you use your rod the most out of your secondaries, and the hotbar you have is more for a lava, so I would probably change your rod in your 2nd slot and start from there. Also play less aggressive and try and get the last rod. I'm only gold 4 so that's only 1 higher than you, but I've beaten people ranging from Emerald 5 to Diamond 2 and they've all said I cheated xd. But yeah try get last rod, play less aggressive and maybe change rod in 2nd, unless your comfortable. But the main thing is to practice of course.Posted on 17 May 2017 - 09:03 PM
