Okay sorry I'm late. I'll offer to give a few tips.

Part 1: Long Range (30+ blocks)

Aim: Long range aim is mainly just practice. At this range, you want to fully pull back your arrows. Try fighting someone in archer duels repeatedly and improve your accuracy. Shotcamping (which I will explain later) helps if the player's strafe is hard to predict.

Strafe: Long range strafe is mainly just dodging, which requires good reaction time and decent ping (dodging is hard to do at around 140+ ms). A common mistake that players make is that they will have a set pattern in which they strafe(e.g. Left-Right-Left-Right). These set patterns will cause you to be killed quickly by good bow players. With long range strafing, you mainly want to play it by ear and move out of the way of arrows as they come to you using A and/or D. This skill also comes with practice.

Part 2: Mid Range (15-30 blocks)

Aim: At this range, you want to focus on aiming at the player the most. Keep your cursor on the player unless an arrow is going to hit you, then strafe quickly out of the way. If you keep your cursor on the player, your shots will be much more accurate than if you are jumping across the map. Pull your arrows back fully charged most of the time. but it does not hurt to shoot a mid-low charged lob arrow in order to avoid a player's shot.

Strafe: You want to dodge using A and D if your opponent is not accurate. If your opponent is accurate with their bow, you want to have a strafe to fall back on. DO NOT go left-right-left-right-left: good bow players will be able to predict this easily and will kill you with ease. Come up with a strafing pattern, such as left-left-right-left-still-right-right that is harder to predict, or if you are good at improvising, strafe in a random direction, which can actually be more helpful. Also, vary your strafes in length as well as direction. If you only strafe a certain length, an accurate bow player will have a 50% chance of hitting you if your strafe is completely random.

Part 3: Short Range (5-15 blocks)

Aim: Figure out the player's strafing pattern. You want to shoot mid-short charged lob shots, as fully charged shots will make you more vulnerable to hits since you have less time to react to shots. If the player is sword rushing you and they have a health/gear/ping advantage, bowspamming (shooting arrows rapidly at minimum charge) can help.

Strafe: After you shoot an arrow, you want to immediately move out of the way quickly and proceed to start shooting again. You want to strafe quickly, as short range is very fast paced.

Part 4: Miscellaneous Tips

1. Use F3+B, which turns on hitboxes. These will let you see your arrows and the players more clearly and will make you much more accurate.
2. Shotcamping. Shotcamping is when you wait for a player to pull back their bow and shoot at you. When a player pulls back their bow, it makes them slower and therefore easier to hit. Use this strategy if you cannot read the player's strafe.
3. Bow boosting. This only works in Archer ladder, but if you have a punch bow, short-charging your arrow and then running forward will cause you to run into your arrow and launch you forward. This will not do much damage, but don't try it if you're at 1/2 hearts. This can be used to get between ranges quickly if you are not in your comfort zone.

Now let's get into the main bow kits.

Kit 1: Archer

In this kit, mid-short range shots do less damage than usual, so you want to stay in long range if you want to do the most damage. If you get the player low, enderpearl into short range where your hits will be more accurate and secure the kill. Enderpearls are also useful if you are stuck against a block or corner and cannot move well, or they can help if you throw them away from the player when you are at low health and want to keep distance between you and the player.

Kit 2: UHC

In this kit, you want to focus on mid-short range, as long ranging will make you waste your arrows. Make sure that the arrows you shoot have a good chance of hitting the player since you have a limited amount. Eat your gapple when the other player is eating their gapple unless you are at a big advantage, in which case you want to shoot the player while they are slowed down. If the other player is much lower than you and you are sure that they are not hacking/lagging, rush in for melee and try to exchange hits.

Kit 3: Iron

In this kit, you want to short range and short range only. Be extra careful about conserving your arrows (32 is not a lot) and make sure the arrows you shoot are hitting the player. Like in UHC, rush the player if they are low. Try not to run out of arrows: you will be in big trouble if you run out of arrows and the other player has more.

I think that's it.
