I think the time has come that we set our sails in a different direction. PVP has been big for awhile now but sadly it is becoming less and less popular ever since update 1.9, and now we're on like 1.14. So I think it would be in BL's best interest to switch to a new kind of server, perhaps parkour. Everything changes eventually and BL's time is now. So I say we embrace the change instead of denying it.

TL;DR: I think BL should switch to a parkour server since PVP is dead

You're right. But all I said was that this wasn't going to happen. It is fairly obvious that this server is meant to be a 1.7/1.8 pvp server, and there have been no steps to attempt to make this server anything else. It takes a tad bit of common sense to not only take this into account, but also the fact that this would make no sense financially, as the entire community revolves around pvp. Not to mention the money and time spent into development into an anti-cheat, gamemodes, and other features specific to 1.7/1.8.

Sorry if it came off as of I was making the decision, as I really don't, but I'm just saying that there is a next to nothing chance of this even being considered. This doesn't negate your idea however, it is completely valid, and deserves to be heard. I just happen to disagree with it.
