Hello! The team has worked long and hard in the past few hours to get these documents released to you in some meaningful way. Everything you see in these documents is provisional and *may* vary slightly in the hours to come, but this is what you can expect to see.
Bracket: http://challonge.com/CTWTourn
Rosters: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1EXePQXTb31T-KW7syg9SlGu1cqFeafFg4Cq_ThceWyY
Teams which did not meet the requirements (through signing up with incorrect IGNs and not correcting them or being banned to reduce the player/sub total to under 5 etc - therefore seldom being able to meet the requirements) were omitted from the bracket and roster. A seeding method has been performed to make round 2 onward as interesting and balanced as possible.
Enjoy playing and good luck if you're playing.
Enjoy the spectacle if you're just watching.

What, it isn't my team rooster https://www.badlion.net/forum/thread/169237Neykiriri is in other team, 6xq and koro_ are not playing, and Masquii_ isn't in the rooster.
Please fix it or my team probably couldn't play :v

Some rosters are wrong. We will fix them before the tournament starts.

No group stages.Rounds 1-4 (inclusive) today.
Rounds 5-8 (inclusive) tomorrow.
Rounds 5-8 are 1/4s, semis, and the 2 finals (inc 3rd place).

If there are only 4 stages going on today is it going to be Bo1 or Bo3?
Most people would prefer Bo3 because all teams of all skill level just want to be able to play multiple matches and is good as Group stages allow multiple matches even if your team isn't the best
Obviously its a paid competition and the whole point is your team must be consistently good to progress but I think Bo3 removes any "fluke" wins, allows each team to play multiple games even if they aren't the best and could be done if only 4 stages are being done today

We expected more teams to pull out the group stages. Lack of sign ups made us decide to drop the group stage.

I don't - this is entirely my perspective, but since the 1st round will be slower than the rest (it always takes a while to DQ everybody who doesnt turn up etc etc), it will bring the tournament to end of play after perhaps a couple of hours. There is a good balance of high seeded players, so there will be some entertainment from the start, throughout to the end. Likewise for tomorrow.
It will make the tournament length pretty much perfect. If we had 32 signups, then yeah, B03. If we had 128 signups, yeah, group stages to break it down. We're in the middle here, and it's only practical to do what we are doing right now. You can only plan a bracket effectively, once you know who (or how many people) is actually going to be playing the bracket.
